From the book IT!.

  1. Find whatever it is that you are good at, and do it.
  2. Don’t try to fake the talent you really don’t have.
  3. Don’t know what you are good at?  Ask someone to help you figure it out.
  4. Learn to enjoy the spotlight.  Be the star of your own stage.
  5. EDUCATE YOURSELF.  Knowledge is power.
  6. Formulate a flexible plan of attack, and stick to it.
  7. If you want it enough, you can get it – but don’t sell yourself short.
  8. Never be mean to waiters – what goes around comes around.
  9. People are going to hate you, so have a hide like a rhino – and above all, don’t give them reason to bring you down!
  10. If you aren’t going to do something – stop bitching and stay home.

Almost No Make-up

Today I went to work wearing no make-up, not even putting on my usual facial moisturizer.  Wait!  I could never get out of the house without putting on one essential beauty product – my lip toner.  I can survive a day without anything else on my face but not without my lip toner.  Without it, any day would spell BAD MOOD.  So there, today it’s almost no make-up day.

So, what I use in days like this is Blistex’s Lip Toner.  It’s a lip balm, which tones your lips by giving it a slight touch of color.  What I like about it is practically what is written on its packaging.  It enhances the natural pigment of ones lips by giving a slight touch of color in every application.  Its moisturizing-nutrient complex keeps the lips’ moisture longer and relieves it from dryness.  It instantly gives chapped lips a touch up.  Plus, it’s got SPF 15 so you already know that it helps protect your lips from the sun’s harmful rays.

I use it as base before putting on any lipstick.  Sometimes that’s all I have on, just like today.  There are times when I’d put them even when I go to sleep at night.  What happens when I wake up is my lips are soft and smooth already, and applying it again won’t be necessary until some time mid day.

I have a long history with this product.  I’ve been using Blistex Lip Tone for more that 10 years now.  I discovered this amazing product back in college when all the other girls were putting on lipstick.  Come to think of it, this is actually my first step to the colorful and fascinating world of cosmetics or make-up.  It took me about an hour to finally decide on buying this lip product.  I was looking for something that could give my lips the moisture and protection it needs, adding up a touch of color to give my lips that oomph!  With a variety of lip products out there, I am one to say that this product surely delivers.
